The Detroit Lions have successfully inked contracts with their entire 2024 NFL Draft cohort.

The Detroit Lions proclaimed on Thursday that Terrion Arnold, their prized first-round selection, has officially committed to the team. This monumental signing signifies that all six of the Lions’ 2024 NFL Draft selections have now been successfully contracted.

Details of Arnold’s contract remain undisclosed, yet for comparative purposes, last year’s 24th overall pick, Deonte Banks, secured a four-year deal worth $13.6 million, entirely guaranteed, along with a $6,875,928 signing bonus. Similar to other first-round picks, Arnold’s agreement includes a fifth-year option. Should the Lions opt to enact this clause in 2026, it will ensure an additional fully guaranteed year through 2028.

With Arnold’s contract finalized, the Lions have tackled their most significant financial decisions as they transition into the summer season. This offseason has seen the Lions dole out substantial extensions to Jared Goff, Amon-Ra St. Brown, and Penei Sewell. Although there are potential extensions on the horizon for players like Taylor Decker and Alim McNeill, there is no immediate indication of these deals materializing soon.

As Organized Team Activities (OTAs) concluded this week, and with all rookies now officially signed, the Lions are poised to enjoy the Michigan summer. Arnold appears to be already relishing the off-season, taking full advantage of this well-earned respite.

In fact, it seems the entire Lions rookie class is embarking on a field trip to Comerica Park on Thursday afternoon.
