Not all too surprising, but according to Justin Rogers of The Detroit News, former Michigan QB Jake Rudock has passed through waivers and will be placed on the Detroit Lions practice squad.
Jake Rudock cleared waivers and is signing back with the Lions practice squad.

The third-year quarterback was outplayed by free agent veteran Matt Cassel this preseason and ultimately lost his backup duties to Matthew Stafford.
It’s a solid and smart move to keep all three signal callers together though. Rudock on the practice squad is much better than him taking up a valuable spot on the 53-man roster. He started his career on the practice squad and will be a nice insurance policy if a third quarterback is ever needed this upcoming season.
