It’s no secret the Lions needed some help with their rush defense. The addition of 2016 All-Pro “Snacks” Harrison will help shore up that weakness.

The 6-foot-3, 355-pounder is currently the 7th highest graded interior lineman from Pro Football Focus. Harrison, 29, is in his seventh year in the NFL. In 2016, he signed a five-year, $46.25 million contract with the Giants. The Lions will have him under contract through 2020.
With the emergence of rookie DT Da’Shawn Hand and the recent strong play from DT A’Shawn Robinson, the Lions defensive tackles are now looking like a strength of the team.
