REPORT: Lions to bring in TE Luke Willson for visit

According to the NFL Canada Twitter account, the Detroit Lions will meet with former Seattle Seahawks tight end, Luke Willson.

The 28-year old is originally from Ontario, Canada.

He was drafted by the Seahawks in the fifth-round out of Rice in the 2013 draft. In his five-year career, he has 89-catches, 1,129-yards and 11 touchdowns– all with Seattle.

With the recent departure of Eric Ebron, there is a fairly large hole that needs to be filled at the “F” tight end position. Willson is a very underrated athlete. He actually tested better than Ebron in a majority of measurements.

The Lions have also been linked with former Eagles tight end, Brent Celek.
