According to Mike Garafolo, Detroit Lions defensive tackle, Mike Daniels, is dealing with a foot sprain after leaving yesterday’s game. It doesn’t sound like it will be a season ending injury according to the source.
Mentioned on NFL Now on @nflnetwork a short while ago Lions DT Mike Daniels has a foot sprain, sources say. He’s getting multiple opinions but it doesn’t look to be anything that will threaten his season.

Daniels was spotted in a walking boot and crutches after the Lions win against the Philadelphia Eagles. The initial x-rays were reportedly negative. Fortunately, it was not the same foot that he injured last year that placed him on the injured reserve.
There still isn’t a clear timetable on when Daniels will return, but avoiding the worst should be considered a positive.
