According to Adam Schefter, Detroit Lions defensive end Ziggy Ansah did not show any significant damage in his recently injured shoulder.
Detroit's franchise player, Ziggy Ansah, underwent an MRI on his shoulder that revealed he did not suffer a significant injury and the Lions' DE is now hopeful he can play Sunday against San Francisco, per source.

Ansah played just 19 defensive snaps in Monday nights game against the New York Jets before having to head to the locker room. He did register a sack in his brief appearance. Unfortunately, this seems to be a microcosm of Ansah’s career.
The good news is that he could potentially play in the Lions week 2 matchup against the San Francisco 49ers. Given its a contract year for the veteran, he has to prove he can still be a dominant force but more importantly, stay healthy.
