The Detroit Lions announced they have waived LB Brandon Chubb.
Chubb was most recently in the news as he is the brother to 2018 top-five draft selection DE Bradley Chubb.
Brandon was an undrafted free agent out of Wake Forest in 2016. The Los Angeles Rams signed him and he made the practice squad his rookie year. After being cut mid-season, the Lions placed him on their practice squad. He has since bounced around to the San Fransisco 49ers and eventually back to Detroit.
Chubb, 24, ended last year on the Lions injured reserve after being injured/waived last May.
The third-year backer is yet to see any regular season game action.
