Add another tackle to the Detroit Lions roster, this time, a player with a little higher profile.
Rams traded former No. 2 overall pick Greg Robinson to Lions for a 2018 sixth-round draft pick, source tells ESPN.

Greg Robinson was the St. Louis Rams first round selection and number two overall player drafted in 2014. He was highly regarded out of Auburn as the top tackle in the class.
Obviously, things did not go as planned as he was just traded for a 2018 6th-round pick.
It’s a low risk, decently high reward trade for GM Bob Quinn. The hardest pill to swallow may be the $3.3mil cap hit that he comes with. Totally worth it if he pans out, but a pricey mistake if he doesn’t.
Robinson has played all over the line for the Rams and it will be interesting to see if he can be the stopgap at left tackle while Taylor Decker is on the shelf.Follow here:
