According to Aditi Kinkhabwala, the Detroit Lions are scheduled to meet with RB Frank Gore sometime this week.
B/c I clearly have a special affinity for the plus-30 crowd… RB Frank Gore has a visit set w/ the Detroit Lions this week. (Side note: That might break @PSchrags’ heart.)

GM Bob Quinn has already met with two other upper aged running backs this week (DeMarco Murray and Jonathan Stewart) and is set to meet with the oldest back in the NFL.
Gore is 34-years old and has been in the league since 2005. A true feat for a running back these days.
Despite racking up 961-yards on the ground last year with the Indianapolis Colts, he still tied a career low in yards per carry (3.7 ypc).
Needless to say, the tread is bare on the tires at this point in his career. The 14-year veteran is one of the all-time greats, we are just about five years too late.
