With their second seventh round pick (229th overall) in the 2019 NFL Draft, the Detroit Lions selected DT PJ Johnson out of Arizona.
He was a top-30 visit. The 6-foot-4, 323-pound junior only spent one year in Arizona after transferring but was very productive in his short stint. While in college, he produced 31 total tackles, 8.5 tackles for loss, and three sacks.
At his Pro day, he did 20 reps on the bench while running a 5.07 40 yard dash at his size. A common NFL comparison is none other than Lions DT Snacks Harrison.
