The Detroit Lions and GM Bob Quinn originally said that they would not tender any of their restricted free agents.
They must of had a change of heart as they decided right before the new league year to give WR TJ Jones an original-round tender (6th).
The Lions tendered restricted free agent TJ Jones at the original round level. Had been previously reported he would not be tendered. (h/t @swarheit)

The tender means the Lions will pay $1.9-million dollars this year or will receive a 6th round pick in compensation if another team signs him.
With how much receivers are making on the open market, it’s a relatively fair deal for a solid reserve pass catcher.
