The Detroit Lions have officially removed LT Taylor Decker from the physically unable to perform list and have placed him on the 53-man roster. He will be eligible to play in Sunday’s matchup against the Cleveland Browns.

After GM Bob Quinn waived-injured LT Greg Robinson yesterday, it was widely assumed the opening was made for Decker’s return. Nobody has to be disappointed as that was in fact the case.
This will be the first game back for Decker since having a labral repair procedure on his right shoulder in early June. Decker has recently been taking a fair amount of first-string reps in practice to prepare him.
Unfortunately, the Lions will have to wait at least one more week to have all five starting lineman healthy. Offensive guard T.J. Lang will be sidelined against the Browns due to a concussion. His symptoms did not appear until practice on Wednesday.
The Lions also waived WR Jace Billingsley in order to bring back fellow OT Corey Robinson from the injured reserve.
With an auspicious schedule remaining, the Lions are getting healthy at the perfect time.
