Lions 2020 draft prospect meetings tracker

The NFL Draft is quickly approaching. With many Pro Days and private visits cancelled, the draft interview process will be a bit unconventional this year for the Detroit Lions.

Given that the Lions staff were the coaches of the North squad at the Senior Bowl, it’s likely they met with almost all of the players who attended. Although the Lions didn’t coach at the East-West Shrine game, meeting with just about every prospect is also very typical.

For the combine, teams are allotted 45 formal meetings. Important to note, organizations are still allowed to conduct informal interviews as well.

In years past, teams have been given 30 private visits to bring prospects in to tour the facilities and to meet the staff. Considering those visits have been postponed due to COVID-19 pandemic, it will be interesting to see how the NFL will go about these type of meetings. Same goes with the annual local Pro Day that typically happens before the draft.

This is by no means a complete list as many interviews fly under the radar to the media.

The tracker will be updated as necessary.
