5 Key Matchups for Detroit Lions vs Cleveland Browns

1. TE Eric Ebron vs Brown‘s LBs

Ebron was named a captain for this game, as well as the Browns defense gives up seven catches per game to TEs– most in the NFL. Ebron should have a break out game here redeeming himself.

2. QB Matthew Stafford vs Browns Secondary

Stafford is coming off of two great games the and this one should be no different. Now with his left tackle back in Decker, Stafford can continue to have time to pick apart defenses. Last week against the Packers, both Tate and Jones had seven catches for over 100 yards.

3. WR Marvin Jones vs CB Devin McCourty

Marvin Jones has been playing lights out lately, however, he will have a difficult assignment in McCourty, who is also having a very strong season.

4. WR Golden Tate vs CB Briean BoddyCalhoun

Tate has done extremely well in the slot with the most catches in the NFL out of that position. That being said, while playing against the slot WR, Boddy-Calhoun has a PFF score of 85.5, which is also the best versus slot receivers in the NFL.

5.  LT Taylor Decker vs DE Myles Garrett

Decker is back with the Lions for the first time all year. After missing training camp, preseason, and 9 weeks of the NFL season, he gets a pretty big test with the No. 1 overall pick in this past draft, Myles Garrett. If Decker can shake the rust off and give Stafford time in the pocket, it bodes very well for the Lions.
